Who is sitting at the desk - just a student? Or a family man and father?

Who is sitting at the desk - just a student? Or a family man and father? The student lot of free time? Credits, lectures, exams, cramming ... And if you have to teach Matan, parallel stroking her husband's shirt, or get up early every morning to catch up classes to withdraw his son in a manger, or when couples rush to work, so little to support the family budget?

Often between such concepts as "student", "Family Man" and "parent" can put an equal sign. Student families are different from normal young families so that such couples have to perform a greater number of social roles and combine more commitments.

  Where's the hurry?

In the last decade, the overall trend for the student Russia: young people are not rushing to register their relationships, with a tendency to civil marriage, children, the plant also in no hurry. Especial rarity today is full of student's family (when both spouses are full-time students). Why students are not rushing to register their relationship, and why even 20-30 years ago things were quite different?

Firstly, students of our time a few younger, the age feature slid down. Previously, an increasing number of young people received education in the direction of production, after the technical schools and Workers' Faculties, and the guys - even after both have served in the army. Typically, these people have already had clearly defined objectives and specific experience. That is, the average age of first-year students was around 20-24 years, and current - 17-21.

Secondly, several vital signs changed the younger generation. Of course, one can argue that young people family values non-existent. Family remains one of the most important goals in life. However, in the student's age in the minds of the current generation of this objective is extended "for later", but the foreground focus on education, find interesting work, self-affirmation of the moral and material, to build a career.

Thirdly, We should not forget that today the public's perception toward cohabitation, or so-called "civil marriage" became more than friendly. In recent time trial cohabitation among young people is becoming a kind of first stage of the life of the future of the family, which immediately precedes the formalization of the Union.

And, finally, Another, perhaps, the most important reason. Due to the volatile situation in the country, our youth do not feel the ground under their feet. Even 20 years ago, things were different. Students receive a scholarship, which is difficult, but you could live. Any graduate of the distribution guaranteed provides jobs. And even for youth at all times, the problem of housing was more or less solved. Hostels, rooms and even apartments available for young professionals for a specific queue by the employer (ie the state). The current generation does not feel confidence in the future and plans to initially "get on their feet, and only then start thinking about the family.

The trouble this - we will survive!

Those students, who despite all the "but" yet registered their marriage, faced not only with all the mundane problems of young families, but also with specific "student" difficulties.

Most of the liability imposed by marriage, - a financial and material security of young families. Lucky for those students who support parents. Often, however, to make ends meet, both spouses have to combine work with study. Well, that's what she and the family, to the sorrows and joys bisect. To address this problem sufficiently to assure the employer your work schedule and coordinate it with the dean and faculty.

Often the determining factor in marriage is precisely the presence of their own homes. The vast majority of students believed that a young family should live separately from their parents, and as a consequence, there is a postponement of marriage until the achievement of domestic well-being. But many schools have couples who are in a registered marriage, it is possible to get a room in a hostel and at least during the training to solve the housing problem.

That student families with children face the greatest difficulties in combining study with the decision of the everyday problems of the family. Of course, if both parents are learning, then we can not do without the help of grandparents. Their help in the care and upbringing of children is often virtually the only opportunity that allows itself to young parents to continue to learn and work after giving birth.

And yet another separate problem, I would highlight the lack of awareness about the possible real support given to the families of students by school and city hall.
